Description:

  • in Piccadilly Circus, Eros appears to aim his bow toward an unseen destination. The arrow itself has vanished, leaving only the suggestion of its trajectory. This work imagines its landing point: a red heart pierced by the missing arrow, which simultaneously reveals itself as the form of a woman's body - provocative, irreverent, and turned back towards Eros in a gesture of subtle defiance and irony.
  • this piece plays with the mythology of love, exposing its contradictions. The target's concentric rings echo systems of value and exchange, mapping emotional desire onto economic structures: 80% CREDIT, 60% INTEREST, 40% LOAN, 20% MORTGAGE. Love becomes a transaction, a negotiation, a debt one is willing to assume in order to be desired.
  • installed on Valentine's Day (2012), the work engages directly with the symbolism of Eros, questioning the romantic ideal and reframing it through humour and critique. Its temporary and unauthorised presence reinforces its fleeting, almost illicit nature much like desire itself.
