Description:
-
"Who's Next" is a powerful critique of global militarism and the cycle of war. Originally debuted as a mural in Chinatown, NYC, this piece deconstructs the American Eagle, replacing its feathers with a complex arsenal of rifles, bayonets, and handguns. The size of the spot was 500 x 270 cm.
-
The Symbol: An eagle built of weaponry, swapping the traditional olive branch for a patriotically decorated missile.
-
The Backdrop: A devastated skyline that represents the aftermath of intervention.
-
The Message: A provocative question about the cost of power and the inevitability of the next conflict.
